A Simulator Coupling System

چکیده

The Simulator Coupling System (SCS) enables the coupling of existing (and new) simulation tools for a wide range of diierent applications to a new comprehensive CAD{tool. SCS particularly supports the simulation of large and heterogeneous electronic systems. Optimal use of computing resources will be achieved by parallelization of simulation. The concept of the SCS provides for several adjustable schemes for the synchronization of the simulators. This paper describes the architecture and the main concepts of the SCS with emphasis on the issue of synchronization.
